Suggested Bundling will provide recommendations of requests that are good candidates to be combined into a single, larger request based on shared supplier recommendations.
From the Request for Quotes List, click the Suggest Bundles button.
Depending on the number of events, this process may take a few minutes to run. Once complete, a confirmation message displays.
On the completed message, click View Bundles to display a list of events ready to be bundled. Alternatively, you can select to filter the events list with the Auto-bundle filter.
From one of the events, use the three dot menu to the right of the request to access the Auto-bundle button. This will bring up the Bundle Requests window, which will give you an overview of the requests the system has identified as a potential bundle.
You can edit the bundle in the following ways:
- Request Title: Enter a title for the new event.
- Add an event: In Search and Add RFQ, enter the title of the event you want to manually add to the bundle.
- Review events: On the list, you can review the list of events that will be included the new bundled event. This includes suggested events and any events you've manually added.
- Remove an event: If there are any events that should not be included, click the removebutton.
Once you have completed your edits, click the Bundle button to create a new event with the bundled line items. You will be brought to the Draft of this new event and the original events will be Archived.
When reviewing this new bundled request from the Request for Quotes List, it will be marked with a blue Bundled tag, to indicate that it was created as a result of Bundling. Hovering over this tag will show which requests were combined to create this new Bundle.
You can review this new Draft event, editing as needed, before submitting it to suppliers for their response.
