Whether your organization has not yet set up an integration with Fairmarkit, or you just want to put out a request for information, a manual RFx is quick and easy to create and send to vendors.
Use the Request Quotes button in the upper right or the Add Request for Quotes tab on the left-hand menu to create a Draft RFx.
Fill out the Title for the RFx that will be visible to the vendors.
Fill out the Description, UOM, and Quantity for each item and/or service needed.
Additional line level information can be optionally added by clicking the Down Arrow at the end of each line.
There is no limit to the number of items and/or services that can be requested on a single RFx, but please ensure that all items and/or services on a single request are related.
All other fields are optional, but the more information you can provide to your vendors, the better.
Fairmarkit automatically identifies vendors that can complete your request as you enter information into the Request Items section.
Click the green Refresh Vendors button to populate the recommended vendors.
The Add Vendors button will allow you to search your existing vendors or create and invite a new vendor.
When searching for existing vendors, you can search by Title, Email, Group, Tag, or Business Classification.
Then mark the checkbox next to any vendors you would like to invite and click Add.
Add any Notes or Files to the request that the vendor should see.
Click Save and Send to email the RFx to all selected vendors.
Now that the RFx has been sent to all the vendors, you can simply wait until the RFx closes to review the bids you've received and award.
