Let your vendors communicate directly with the buyer
Vendors can communicate directly with the Buyer or with Fairmarkit Support (based on Account Preferences), from directly within an open request.
From the Vendor Bid Page, Vendors can scroll to the bottom section of the RFQ to enter a chat with the Buyer that submitted the requisition.
Once a vendor enters a question, the buyer will be notified in Fairmarkit.
The bell icon will appear with a small red bubble indicating that there are unread chats to the buyer. When the bell is clicked upon, it will direct to the chat with the vendor.
Communication can be sent from the "Messaging" tab under Vendors management on the left-hand menu in Fairmarkit. This provides one central, easy to use location for Buyer-Vendor communication regarding specific RFQs.
If desired, desktop notifications can be enabled which will allow the buyer to get notifications regarding a vendor chat when they are not using Fairmarkit. The image below depicts how to enable these notifications. Click the dark circle in the oval outline to enable notifications.
