Let your vendors communicate directly with your buyers:
Vendors can communicate directly with the buyer or with Fairmarkit Support (based on Account Preferences), directly within the platform.
From the Vendor Bid Page, vendors can scroll to the bottom section of the bid request to chat with the Buyer that submitted the requisition.
Once a vendor enters a question, the buyer will be notified in Fairmarkit.
A bell icon will appear with a small red bubble indicating that there are unread chats from vendors. Clicking the bell will take the buyer directly to the Messaging tab.
This can be also be accessed from the Messaging tab under Vendors management on the left-hand menu in Fairmarkit. This provides one central, easy-to-use location for Buyer-Vendor communication regarding specific RFQs.
Desktop Notifications can also be enabled, which will allow the buyer to get chat notifications when they are not in the Fairmarkit platform.
