Once a request reaches its close date, moving from "Open" status to "Closed", vendors are unable to place any further bids. If the buyer wishes to reopen an RFQ for bid, click the "Closed" tab on the Fairmarkit dashboard. Locate the bid which will be reopened. On the far right hand side of the bid information there are three vertical dots, commonly referred to as the hamburger icon.
Click this icon, and select "Reopen."
Once "Reopen" has been selected, a pop-up window will appear asking the new date, time, and preferred delivery date (if applicable) of the closed RFQ.
Select the new day and time for the RFQ to close, and set the preferred delivery if needed. Once this has been completed, click reopen. A menu will drop down that will ask if the buyer would like to reopen and notify all invited vendors, or simply reopen without notifying. After making a selection, the RFQ will move back to "Open" status.
