Once a request reaches its close date, moving from Open status to Closed, vendors are unable to place any further bids. If you need to reopen an RFQ for bid, click the Closed tab on the Fairmarkit dashboard and locate the desired RFQ. On the far right hand side of the RFQ information there are three vertical dots, commonly referred to as the hamburger icon.
Click this icon, and select Reopen.
Once you click Reopen, a pop-up window will appear asking you for the new date, time, and preferred delivery date (if applicable) of the closed RFQ.
Select the new day and time for the RFQ to close, and set the preferred delivery if needed. Once this has been completed, click Reopen. A menu will drop down that will ask if the buyer would like to reopen and notify all invited vendors, or simply reopen without notification. After making a selection, the RFQ will move back to Open status.
