How to add, manage, and delete shipping addresses on RFQs:
Providing a shipping address on a RFQ is optional, but encouraged. By doing so, vendors will be able to provide more accurate pricing by including shipping costs or direct you to the appropriate sales representative for your area. If an address was input into the ERP or P2P used to conduct business, it will auto-populate into the drafted RFQ it is associated to when it is uploaded to Fairmarkit.
If there is no address associated with the RFQ, you can add one manually when editing a request.
A drop-down menu will appear when the shipping address field is selected. Any previous addresses entered will appear in the dropdown menu for convenience. If you need to enter a new address, the Add New Shipping Address button will allow you to type it in, and will save it for later use.
Another way to manage addresses saved in the Fairmarkit system is to select the Addresses tab in the sidebar.
When selected, the Address Menu provides a list of all addresses that have been used when creating RFQs, as well as the ability to create, edit, and delete them.
If changes need to be made to an existing address, select the pencil icon on the right side of the menu. If an address is no longer necessary, select the trash icon next to the edit icon to delete it.
