How to add, manage, and delete shipping addresses on RFQs
Providing a shipping address on a RFQ is optional but encouraged. By doing so, vendors will be able to provide more accurate pricing by including shipping costs. If an address was input into the ERP or P2P used to conduct business, it will auto-populate into the drafted RFQ it is associated within Fairmarkit.
If there is no address associated with the RFQ, one can manually be entered when editing an RFQ.
A drop-down menu will appear when the shipping address field is selected. Any previous addresses entered will appear in the dropdown menu for convenience. Select the address desired from the drop-down menu. If it is a new address, use the "Add new Address" button that appears in the drop-down menu.
Once the new address has been entered, it will remain in the drop-down menu for future use.
Another way to manage addresses saved in the Fairmarkit system is to select "Addresses" on the left side menu.
When selected, the Address Menu provides a list of all addresses that have been used when creating RFQs, as well as the ability to create, edit, and delete them.
In the upper right-hand corner, there is an "Add Address" button, which provides another way to add additional shipping addresses. Below this, there are a list of addresses. Those that belong to the buyer that is logged in will have an edit icon, and a delete icon as well. If changes need to be made to an existing address, select the pencil icon on the right side of the menu. If an address is no longer necessary, select the trash icon next to the edit icon to delete it.
